This is a poem out of a book I came across. After discovering it I got a Phoenix tattoo. Every time I look at it, I am reminded that every single thing that produces light must endure burning: A light bulb, the sun, fire, and of course us amongst the living who produce light in peoples lives.It is a reminder that it is okay to burn in order to be a light.
This poem comes from a book called “milk and honey”, which I would recommend to anyone! I find this piece of writing very powerful because it is pure and it is honest. Everyone is constantly worried about finding “the one” which is lovely and beautiful but the first step in loving someone else, is loving yourself.
This is an image that I captured and added the text “everything happens for a reason”. This is one of my favourite sayings because it allows us to flow through life with ease and grace knowing there is a divine purpose in all of this.
